Does Tef-Gel™ have a shelf life?
No, Tef-Gel™ has no shelf life, it will not expire, dry out or crack. It will remain the same consistency until you need to remove it.
Will Tef-Gel™ wash off?
No, Tef-Gel™ will not wash off in salt water, freshwater or detergents.
How do I clean up after applying Tef-Gel™?
Simply wipe with mineral turpentine, WD40 or Innox for easy clean up.
What colour is Tef-Gel™?
White
Can I paint over Tef-Gel™?
Yes, simply apply and fit hardware or fastenings and clean up, prior to painting in the normal fashion.
Is Tef-Gel™ toxic or dangerous?
No, unlike other products, which contain known carcinogens & are classified as marine pollutants, Tef-Gel™ is completely safe for people and the environment. (Please refer to MSDS for further information)
Is there anywhere where I can’t or shouldn’t use Tef-Gel™?
Tef-Gel™ is suitable in any applications between the temperature ranges of –60 c & 300 c. Tef-Gel™ should not be used in applications outside these temperature ranges. (Refer to MSDS for further information)
Is Tef-Gel™ a lubricant or a corrosion barrier?
